High Tech Cyborg R.A.T Gaming Mouse Fulfills Gamers’ Dreams
Some of the chief complaints of computer, as opposed to console, gaming include play lag, having to sit at a desk instead of a couch or lounge chair, game price, and of course, the lack of a decent controller. The R.A.T. answers at least three out of four with its one millisecond response time, USB 2.0 connectivity, advanced wireless technology so you can play from anywhere in the room, and a list of features as long as most game’s instruction manuals.
An improvement on the R.A.T. 7, impressive features of the R.A.T. 9 include two interchangeable custom built lithium-ion batteries so you can charge one while using the other and the ability to ‘hot swap’ batteries without being forced to exit and restart the game. The body is a metal frame which promises to hold up to the test of time.
Adding to the customization, the R.A.T. comes with three palm rests (standard, heel grip, and heel riser) and three pinkie grips (standard, grip edge, and wing edge) so no matter how you hold your mouse, your hand is perfectly supported. Also included are five 6-gram weights to change the weight of the mouse to suit your preference. Five customizable buttons, four custom settings for the R.A.T.’s 5600 ‘twin eye’ laser DPI, and three cyborg modes (for a total of 15 easy-access commands) come standard. Separate profiles for DPI, commands, cursor sensitivity and other options can be pre-set for each game.
